Speakers:

Fr. Bob Garon 

Pastor, St. Didacus Church, Sylmar, CA

Fr. Bob Garon is a native of Los Angeles and a revert to Catholicism. After being away from the Church for 14 years and working as an actor, a bartender, and doing voiceovers, he began a journey back to the faith.  At the age of 35 he witnessed the examples of faith during a family reunion.  His rediscovery of the Catholic faith led him to consider a vocation to the priesthood, and he was ordained in 2005.  Since his reversion back to the Church, Fr. Bob has participated in many methods of prayer. The Mass is his favorite prayer, but silence is the place where Fr. Bob allows himself to hear God.   He currently serves as pastor of St Didacus Church in Sylmar, California.

Dominic Berardino

President, SCRC, Burbank, CA

Dominic Berardino is President of SCRC and has been active in a lay leadership role in Catholic Charismatic Renewal since 1972.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies from Mt. St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, plus additional studies from Loyola Marymount University.  He is the author of “Thy Kingdom Come” seminar, a Holy Spirit seminar aimed at evangelizing Catholics.   As a Catholic lay leader, author, and teacher, Dominic has given talks and conducted in-depth seminars, retreats, and conferences in over 450 Catholic churches around the United States and Canada.

Prayer Wall

A prayer wall will be constructed with pictures of your deceased family members and friends to be prominently placed near the altar during the Eucharist being offered for them. A prayer wall will be constructed with pictures of your deceased family members and friends to be prominently placed near the altar during the Eucharist being offered for them. Bring copies or reproductions of family photos and/or funeral Mass cards (please do not bring originals in case they are lost or damaged).

Mass for Generational Healing

 

A Special Mass will be offered for all living and deceased loved ones, including prayers for healing and more.

Genogram

Preparing your own personal genogram will help you pray more specifically for your family members/immediate ancestry. Registrations received before 2/16/23 will be mailed a genogram and other helpful sheets.

Registration:

$30 per ticket for registrations received by Feb 20. (catered lunch included).  $40 after Feb 20 or at the door, space permitting.
